The design of the concrete mix is the process of determining the proportions of the concrete components (water, cement, sand, and aggregates) to achieve the target strength. The Advantages of concrete mix design are that it yields the correct proportions of materials, thus establishing the concrete use economical in achieving required strength of structural members. Several concrete mix design methods has been developed such as:
